2017 Trailblazer Award Winner – Susan Craig

Susan Craig graduated from Lakehead University with an M.Sc. in 1991 and a B.Ed. in 2001.  She moved to British Columbia to work at the Brewery Creek Project/Mine in Yukon.  Sue was the first female Vice-Chair (2009-2010) and Chair (2011-2012) of the Association for Mineral Exploration (AME) Roundup conference.  She was also the first female Chair of the Yukon Mineral Advisory Board (YMAB), guiding the group that provides input on government policies that affect the mineral industry.

Sue recieved the Yukon Chamber of Mines Member’s Award in 2012, and the Gold Pan Award for “exceptional meritorious service to the mineral exploration community” from the Association for Mineral Exploration in British Columbia in 2017.
