Nancy Komperdo

Nancy is a registered professional geologist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan. She earned her geology degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland, in her home province, before moving out to western Canada to pursue her career in mining. Her experience includes operational and exploration activities in nickel, diamond, and potash assets. Most recently her career has been focused on potash exploration for BHP Billiton Canada Inc. whom she has worked for the majority of her career. Nancy has experience working as a field geologist and core logging geologist in nickel and diamonds. She has worked as a structural geologist, identifying unsafe ground conditions and recommending remediation work in open pit and underground operations. Recently she moved into a project management position, overseeing seismic explorations efforts in Saskatchewan.
