The core is the essential element of any exploration program that is vital for moving a project forward. Like the drill hole core, “CORE” sponsorship is essential for building the foundation of our organization.
Since launching Women in Mining Canada (WIMC) in 2009 we have gained recognition for our ability to promote collaboration and team work with the numerous sectors that make up the vibrant mining industry in which we work. We share this achievement with our industry partners who have strengthened our vision as a national not-for- profit organization to attract, retain and advance women in mining and exploration. We are extremely grateful for our industry partners who fund the important initiatives and enable WIMC to give back to the industry.
The “CORE” sponsorship program is designed to offer reciprocal benefits to your organization while building an even more rewarding industry for all. The sponsorship program runs from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016. Each “CORE” level offers an array of benefits that focus on a high degree of recognition and exposure at all of our events and with all of our initiatives.
In-kind sponsorship opportunities are also available, including administrative, accounting, and communications support, and event hosting/facilitation. These enable companies to increase their impact within our organization and enable the WIM board members to focus their energies on our strategic objectives.
Contributing to WIMC will make a positive impact toward achieving our goals by supporting:
- Research that will drive change in our industry
- WIMC communication with industry stakeholders
- Our high profile International Networking Reception at the Prospectors Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention
- Branches and student chapters
- Informative webinars on diversity, gender intelligence and best practice sharing
- Federal funding proposal submissions
“Without the core…our industry can’t move forward.”
